Checktable level two on DBC
Command line syntax: /opt/teradata/gsctools/bin/cnsremote checktable check dbc at level two with no error limit skiplocks priority=m error only;
Checktable level one on user tables
Command line syntax: /opt/teradata/gsctools/bin/cnsremote checktable check all tables exclude dbc at level one with no error limit skiplocks priority=m error only;
Checktable output from both of these will be in this file. Each file will be differentiated by the time. So they will not overwrite each other.

Scandisk

Scandisk output will be in this file:

1. Is every cnsterm command’s output storead at /var/opt/teradata/gsctools/cnsremote/ ?
1A. Yes, if you run it from the command line, yes all the output goes there. Each run of each tool will go to a unquie file so you don’t need to worry about overwriting another log file.
2. If yes, then what is retention period .
2A. No retention period. Usually, until we clean it up.
3. By anyhow, Is this data stored in Dictionary table(s)?
3A. No
